Benzino decided to go even harder at Eminem in a second diss track, and gave him 48 hours to respond.
On Wednesday, January 31, the seasoned rapper and reality TV star dropped his new song "Rap Elvis." 'Zino takes full aim at the Shady Records co-founder by claiming Em is clout-chasing him and his daughter Coi Leray. He also asserted Detroit artists like Icewear Vezzo don't respect him and named all the artists who've joined and left Shady Records over the years like Slaughterhouse's Kxng Crooked.
"With all them false lines that you pitched them/Shady Records sound like less of a name and more like a description," Benzino raps.
"You call our women black bitches then play the victim when there's distrust/You keep using the art form that we created to diss us," 'Zino continues. "They try to rewrite history make you Elvis of Hip-Hop/But in stores Slim should be on the shelves next to Slipknot."
Fans online were blown away by the second response. Some praised Benzino for finally ripping into Eminem lyrically after they've spent the past two decades beefing. Others claimed that he found a ghostwriter to help him win this round.
"Benzino did his thing on this Rap Elvis diss. It's good enough for Eminem to respond to," one fan wrote.
"Ghostwriter or Not, that Benzino diss song to Eminem is pretty good ….and it’s okay to admit that y’all," singer Emanny declared.
Both of Benzino's songs arrived not long after Eminem reignited their years-long beef on "Doomsday Pt. 2" off Lyrical Lemonade's All Is Yellow album. As of this report, Em has not responded to either diss track. However, Icewear Vezzo and Kxng Crooked reacted to their mentions in the song.
