Freddy Krueger is back in town to strike fear into the hearts of Freddie Gibbs fans ahead of Halloween.

On Thursday, October 24, the demonic serial killer's eyes in the middle the phrase "Freddie's Back" and a phone number appeared on billboards throughout Los Angeles. According to TMZ, fans can call the number and hear Freddy Krueger make plenty of references to Gibbs' previous work in his authentic, creepy voice by actor Robert Englund.

"Freddy's back b***h," Krueger laughs. "I can't wait to rip through your dreams like a Piñata... You can keep your mind, but your Soul is Sold Separately."

Freddie Gibbs has been dropping off clues about his forthcoming project for the past few weeks. Earlier this month, one of Gibbs' alleged burner accounts, which is named after Krueger's infamous catchphrase "You only die once," posted a snippet of an unreleased song. The animated clip features his signature rabbit walking on a street in a Jason Voorhees hockey mask and a bloody knife. In the background, you can hear an ominous tune before the beginning of Gibbs' verse.

The details surrounding Freddie Gibbs' next project are scarce at the moment. It would serve as the follow-up to his 2022 LP $oul $old $eparately. Since then, the Gary, Ind. native has released collaborations with Leon Thomas, CHIKA, ScHoolboy Q, Animé and BJ the Chicago Kid. As of this report, a release date for his album has not been confirmed. However, based on Freddy Krueger's creepy message, fans could receive the album just in time for Halloween.
