Snoop Dogg and actor Delroy Lindo's heartfelt moment on the red carpet is going viral for all the right reasons.

On Sunday night, January 11, the veteran rapper spoke to numerous superstars for Access Hollywood at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, including Best Supporting Actress winner Teyana Taylor and his neighbor, Glen Powell. During the awards show, Snoop got a chance to speak with Sinners star Delroy Lindo and told him his role in the film, which won the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, reminded him of his uncle.

"The role you played in Sinners reminded me of my uncle," Snoop told him.

"He always had to have a nip, but he always had information," he continued. "He was so sharp."

"Can I tell you something from my heart?" Lindo replied. "The fact that you referenced a family member and that what I did resonates like that for you means the world 'cause that is what— they're the kind of comments that I be getting. That I can touch people like that, and the film touches people like that, I can't ask for more than that bro."

Sinners was one of the most nominated films of the year, along with One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, Bugonia, Hamnet, and others. The Ryan Coogler-directed film was also nominated for Best Drama Film, Best Screenplay, Best Original Song and more.

Snoop Dogg also spoke to another stand-out actor from Sinners, Miles Caton. He spoke with the singer-actor about attending the Golden Globes for the first time, and complimented his fit on the red carpet.
