This week, I made my way over to Berry Chill in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and man, was it CHILL!

Berry Chill is a vibrant health food café located in the ShopRite Plaza on English Creek Avenue in Egg Harbor Township. The café opened in spring 2026, founded by entrepreneur Tara Gardner, who wanted to bring her passion for clean eating and community wellness to South Jersey.

From the moment you walk in, you get that bright, welcoming feeling. It’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing something quick to-go or want to sit down and enjoy a meal. I love that the whole idea behind Berry Chill is making healthy eating feel fun, fresh, and—most importantly—DELICIOUS!

Trying the Caramel Apple Crush

Today, I decided to try their September Bowl, the Caramel Apple Crush, and OH MY GOD—it was SO good!

The Caramel Apple Crush is loaded with crisp apples, fresh banana, cacao nibs, sugar-free caramel, Nutella, AND peanut butter. Basically, it has all the fall flavors you could want in one bowl!

Every bite was sweet, creamy, crunchy, and refreshing, while still feeling like a healthier option. The combination of the peanut butter, Nutella, caramel, and fruit was seriously SO good.

And honestly? It felt like I was eating a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in a bowl!

The biggest surprise for me was that I actually finished the ENTIRE bowl. I usually don’t finish a whole açaí bowl, but this one was THAT good. I couldn’t stop eating it!

More Than Just Açaí Bowls

While the Caramel Apple Crush was definitely the star of my visit, Berry Chill has SO much more to choose from.

They offer different customizable bowls, including açaí, pitaya, mango, pineapple-coconut, and oatmeal bowls. They also have smoothies, fresh juices, salads, artisan toasts, sandwiches, and their signature protein chill bites.

So whether you’re in the mood for something sweet, something refreshing, or a full meal, there’s plenty to choose from.

They also offer convenient online ordering and delivery options, making it super easy to grab something when you’re on the go.

A Healthier Option in EHT

I love finding local spots that make healthier eating actually taste GOOD, and Berry Chill definitely did not disappoint!

I also love that Berry Chill has a strong focus on the local community. They even have special promotions like Teacher Tuesday, giving local educators a discount with a valid ID.

It’s more than just a place to grab an açaí bowl—it feels like a spot that really wants to be part of the EHT community.
