Yella Beezy is mourning the loss of his mother.

On Sunday, January 18, the Texas native announced his mom, Kim, passed away last week. In a carousel he posted to Instagram, Beezy, born Markies Conway, shared a photo of himself holding his late mother's hand in a hospital bed with her tattoo of his name in clear view. He also included throwback videos and photos of himself with his mom and children.

"I’m so empty right now I cant even explain," he wrote. "I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy…. My BaccBone , My life."

"How I’m supposed to live without you ?" he continued. "Who im supposed to talk to everyday ? Send reels too ? Who I’m supposed to Argue with? It’s been me and you against the world since birth."

Yella Beezy didn't reveal the cause of her death. The news about her passing was confirmed after he didn't appear in court last week. The "That's On Me Baby" rapper is set to stand trial on February 2 after he was accused of paying Kewon White to kill artist Mo3 in 2020. During a pretrial hearing held in Dallas County, Beezy's defense attorneys asked to reschedule the trial due to the overwhelming amount of discovery material. According to Complex, both sides were ordered to return to court next week to determine a new trial date.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Yella Beezy and his family. Rest in peace, Kim.
