What's really going on with A$AP Rocky and Drake? Fans just got a little more insight.
A$AP Rocky recently addressed rumors of a feud Drake in a recent radio interview. Despite speculation sparked by Rocky's new track "Stole Ya Flow" from his album Don’t Be Dumb, Rocky insists that there is no "real smoke" between him and Drake. However, he admitted, "I just don’t f–k with him," citing a falling out "over females."
Rocky and Drake were once friends and collaborated on the 2012 hit "F****n' Problems." Their relationship soured over the years, particularly as both have been romantically linked to singer Rihanna. Drake dated Rihanna on and off from 2009 to 2016, while Rocky has been with her since 2019. The couple now shares three children together.
Rocky mentioned that Drake's continued references to Rihanna in his music are "soft," and he believes it's time to move on. In "Stole Ya Flow," Rocky raps, "First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b*tch. … Now I’m a father, my b*tch badder than my toddler / My baby mama Rihanna, so we unbothered."
Rocky maintains that his music is not directed at one person, stating, "I’m talking to whoever. Whoever feels like I’m talking to them." He also noted that the perceived beef is more akin to "wrestling," where artists "troll" and "rage bait" for attention.
Drake has not publicly responded to Rocky's comments. And Rihanna, for her part, has previously stated that she and Drake are not enemies, but do not maintain a friendship.
