Artist iHeartMemphis was taken into custody following a chaotic scene at his home in Florida.

According to CBS News, welfare officers first approached the rapper, born Richard Maurice Colbert, on Monday, February 9, after his family and former girlfriend spent days trying to help him. When they spoke to the artist, Colbert began to livestream the encounter and told the officers he was God. He also pointed the camera at the sky, claimed he was being spied on, and later aimed a gun at his dog. After he barricaded himself inside his home, Plantation Police and a SWAT team arrived at the scene.

"Please, please save me y'all," Colbert said during the livestream. "I'm begging you. I don't got nothing. I don't want to hurt nobody, y'all."

Colbert continued to livestream the entire spectacle for over 20,000 people until the SWAT team infiltrated his garage at 3 a.m. Authorities got access to his home by pulling his Tesla through the closed garage door. He was arrested on an active warrant for written or electronic threats to kill. He wasn't injured, but he was taken to a nearby hospital for a psychological evaluation. His dog was safely removed from the home and released to the rapper's family member.

iHeartMemphis, also known as iLoveMemphis, first gained notoriety in 2015 after he dropped his hit single "Hit The Quan." He followed up with "Lean and Dabb" a few months later, and drop a couple of mixtapes.
