Fans are one step closer to finally receiving Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux's long-awaited joint album, Prolific.

On Thursday night, February 12, the Los Angeles native and the late rapper's estate debuted the project's first single, "Reckless." Produced by Mike & Keys, Nipsey kicks off the track with his catchy yet reckless hook before Bino jumps in with his soothing verse.

"F**k if I crash, don't save me, driving this fast Mercedes, reckless with passion lately," Nip raps on the chorus. "I know this cash don't make me/I know this fade don't make me/You know this game get crazy, I know this pain can't break me."

Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux's joint album has been in the works for several years. While fans long suspected that Nip and Bino had plenty of unreleased collaborations in the vault, the late Grammy winner's brother, Samiel Asghedom a.k.a "Blacc Sam," announced the album nearly a year ago. In an interview with Billboard, Blacc Sam revealed that the album was recorded in 2019, right before Nipsey was shot and killed.

“He did something with Bino and there’s a new project that we’re about to release," Sam said. "This was a project that he had with Bino that was pretty much like 80% finished. So the team kind of came in, got some unreleased verses and music that he had done with Bino and just tightened it up. It sounds amazing. The team is real excited. We just finished going over all the stuff for the last three weeks with everybody.”

Nip and Bino worked together several times before the Victory Lap rapper's untimely death. The duo released their collaborative project No Pressure in 2017 and teamed up with Dave East for "Clarity" in 2016.

Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux's album Prolific is set to arrive this summer. Check out the song above and watch Bino talk about the album in his recent interview with Bootleg Kev.
