Kodak Black is no longer facing a lawsuit over a shooting that went down at a Super Bowl party in 2022.

The lawsuit, worth $10 million, was filed by Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman after they were injured during an incident that ended in gunfire on February 12, 2022. According to TMZ, the two men were outside The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles, where Justin Bieber hosted a party during Super Bowl LVI weekend. Schaefer and Rahman alleged Kodak Black instigated a verbal dispute that led to the shooting. The Florida native was shot twice in the leg and the two men were also struck.

"This lawsuit filed by Gloria Allred, might have been the dumbest, most ridiculous lawsuit I have ever read," Kodak's lawyer Bradford Cohen told the outlet on Monday, March 2. " As I said when this idiotic lawsuit was filed, they would not get a dime. This was light work for me and our L.A. office run by Zoe Aron. Luckily for them, our client decided to forgo filing a motion for his attorney fees, and let them whimper away with their tail between their legs. This should be a warning and a lesson to dopey attorneys, filing dopey lawsuits, come for our clients and we will come for you."

Cohen said that he gave the plaintiff's legal team an ultimatum: drop the case or get sued for attorney's fees. Schaefer and Rahman's lawyers decided to drop the lawsuit, and they won't be able to file it again.
